“Married” definitely doesn’t mean you’re no longer dating. If anything, it’s even more essential and worthwhile!

The usual saying goes “weekly date nights are necessary for keeping your relationship strong”, but that’s not necessarily true! There are definitely couples with young children or tight budgets that might hear this and think, “We can’t afford this”/”We don’t have time for this”, “are we doomed??”

No! You definitely aren’t! The idea behind having a ‘weekly date night’ stems from the need for a couple to set aside time each week to just be with each other and to enjoy one another’s company away from the craziness of everyday life.

Whether you’re going to dinner, a movie or for a walk down the street to a small ice cream shop, the importance is behind the time spent together, not specifically the activity. So instead of ‘Weekly Date Nights” we’re officially renaming them to “Weekly Us Nights”.

Weekly Us Nights will allow you to take a moment from your crazy week to relax, let loose a little and to enjoy the company of your partner. Sometimes with all the responsibilities of daily life, we can unconsciously put our relationship a little lower on the priority list and these ‘us’ nights are what can help keep your connection strong, fun and passionate! Because after all, a strong bond between a couple transfers to a strong family and home.
